Keith Andrew Customs Coaching and Consulting is one of the leading Customs Training and Consulting providers in South Africa and has successfully made a name for itself in the industry for providing an appropriate and thought-provoking environment at decent prices. 

The Gauteng based company was founded by Keith Andrew, who is the principal trainer. Keith is 58 and has worked in the Customs and Excise arena for over 35 years, starting his career with the Dept of Customs and Excise in Cape Town and also at the Germiston office and at OR Tambo International Airport holding various positions in numerous sectors of the Customs department including that of training officer.

In 1984, Keith was seconded to the Swaziland Customs Department for a period of 12 months to assist with the development of that country's customs processes and training. In 1985, he continued his career in the Customs Head Office in Pretoria in the Section for Conventions and Trade Agreements primarily involved with Customs Union partners (Botswana/Swaziland/Lesotho) and in the Tariff Determination Section responsible for processing applications for tariff heading classification.

He concluded his career with the Dept. of Customs and Excise at OR Tambo International as the Deputy Director responsible for cargo clearance aspects of Customs Control. Keith moved into the private sector in 1991 and held the position of National Customs Tariff Consultant at one of South Africa's leading clearing agents and was responsible for client services in customs requirements and procedures as well as tariff heading classifications and Customs disputes.

Braving a new world, Keith formed his own company in 2005, providing training to importers, et al on Customs and Excise requirements and procedures.
